France has it all when it comes to skiing, but the Three Valleys region is truly the best the country has to offer, of which Meribel (between Courchevel and Val Thorens) offers the best of what skiing France is all about.

Skiing in Meribel is all about; unlimited picturesque, villages pistes, great mountain restaurants and consistent snow clad mountain tops sprawled over a whooping 600 km!!

This region in particular is naturally blessed with good snowfalls and, 1,200 snow cannons, your skiing holiday is virtually guaranteed from Christmas through to the beginning of May. Based on the price and facilities ski chalets can be divided into 3 broad categories.
Luxury: these chalets typically offer ensuite bathrooms, comfortable furniture and are usually hosted by experienced staff. The chalet host will prepare food of a high quality, with quality regional wines. Extra little touches that make a lasting impression on its residents are luxuries such as a champagne reception, pre-dinner canapés, and fluffy bathrobes.

Standard: Most standard range chalets offer ensuite bathrooms with the majority of chalets with a modest, smart decor. Meals are usually prepared by chalet hosts and are considerably of good taste and may be accompanied with good quality local wines.

Value: The rooms in these chalets are unlikely to be ensuite, and may not contain things like bedside lamps and wardrobes. Wholesome and nutritious meals are available.
